Multiphysics System Simulation of Power Electronics – Losses, Temperature, Stress
FED talk am 09.10.25.
Circuit simulation is an established method in the development of power electronics systems. With smaller packing densities and higher powers, field simulation, which also considers the electromagnetic field interaction of neighbouring components and conductor structures, has become increasingly important. Additional, thermal and mechanical effects influence the performance and reliability of the system and must therefore be checked under considering the application conditions. This results in the need for a simulative multi-physical analysis of components, packages and systems.
