Inboarding – Embedding in PCB Design

Embedding components in printed circuit boards is a technology with long-standing roots. In Europe, especially in German-speaking countries, numerous projects have been carried out to research and apply this technology. To date, however, the background to this method is not widely known, even though PCB manufacturers have been producing boards with embedded components in large series for years.

Increasing demands on electronic circuits require higher clock frequencies, cleaner signals, and highly miniaturized assemblies. Due to ever-increasing power densities, cooling properties must be continuously improved. Hardware developers and assembly designers therefore often have to dig deep into their bag of tricks and resort to new technologies such as embedding components in order to solve problems. The ability to integrate active and passive components with and without housings into the printed circuit board helps to meet the above requirements and achieve the desired system size.

The aim of the seminar is to provide participants with the necessary know-how for using the technology. It also aims to simplify the introduction and selection of the most suitable form of technology.

Zertifizierter Elektronik-Designer Level IV
ZED Level IV Wahlseminar

Für Teilnehmer am Weiterbildungsprogramm zur Erlangung der Qualifikation "Zertifizierter Elektronik-Designer" steht dieses Seminar neben anderen zur Auswahl. Die abschließende Prüfung besteht aus 16 Multiple Choice Fragen von denen min. 12 richtig beantwortet werden müssen.

Die Prüfung wird online über unser Prüfungsportal https://elearning.fed.de stattfinden. Es ist eine vorherige Registrierung notwendig. Zudem benötigt jeder Teilnehmer ein eigenes internetfähiges Gerät mit Ton und Kamera. Während der Online-Prüfung muss der Teilnehmer online im Webmeeting bleiben und die Kamera eingeschaltet lassen.

Services included: digital training materials, ZED Level IV credit exam, certificate of participation, lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages during breaks.

The seminar language is English.

You will receive the invoice approximately 14 days before the start of the training course. The invoice amount must be transferred to the FED before the start of the event. Please do not pay until you have received the invoice.

If you cancel your registration between 28 and 14 days before the start of the seminar/course (only possible in writing by post, email, or fax – the date of receipt stamp applies), a cancellation fee of 30% of the total invoice amount will be charged. After that, the full amount must be paid in all cases. In case of no-show or late cancellation, there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the seminar date even after confirmation of registration has been received, in which case the fees will be refunded.
